Architectural and Structural Engineering Services

Services

Our design and consultancy  services of structural engineering and architecture work closely with our construction teams where required to produce the best solution possible for our clients.

We directly employ chartered structural engineers who are qualified and members of the Institution of Civil Engineers https://www.ice.org.uk/

Our design team conduct a varied type of work. Although they have experience in working on large scale projects such as football stadia, the focus for GB Create is to support and supplement our construction teams.

Our engineers also currently lecture at and support local universities in both the School of Engineering and the School of Architecture where we assist in educating undergraduates.

We can provide a full design and construction service if required. However, we can provide all or any combination of the skills we have to assist you.

Typical input from our design/consultancy team are:

Assisting clients understand what can and cannot be done.

Full design of schemes and dealing with planning and building control submissions and approvals on behalf of clients.

Major structural design of buildings.

Design of support steels for small extensions or chimney supports in domestic properties.

Structural surveys of buildings – including movement and damp ingress inspections.

Subsidence inspections and reports for mortgage lenders

There are many more services our design and consultancy team can provide and we can also work with other designers on projects where required. If you have already appointed an architect we can still work with your chosen architect to support them for structural engineering services.

If you are in need of our design or consultancy services outlined above and want to discuss whether we can assist please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to meet you and give advice with no obligation, and whether you decide to use us or not we are happy to give you advice at any point through the process.
